The Chicago Blackhawks will have extra firepower in the lineup against one of the best teams in the NHL on Saturday. Anders Sorensen and the Blackhawks will take on Sheldon Keefe's New Jersey Devils.
With Craig Smith out of the lineup, the Blackhawks will have extra insurance on the 2nd line with 13th overall pick Nazar's ascent.
In addition to having 2nd line duties tomorrow, it appears that he has Ander Sorensen's confidence.
He practiced today with the Hawks on the 1st power-play unit, in addition to centering Taylor Hall, and Tyler Bertuzzi.
It appears that Bedard and Nazar were figuring out responsibilities on the power-play in between drills.
However, there's been nothing confirmed on his placement on the power-play with the Hawks.
If the Blackhawks can take out the Devils, who are 2nd in the Metropolitan Division they can beat anybody.
Considering they've claimed a win over the Dallas Stars this season, it's easy to assume with Sorensen's leadership they'll be successful.
While Nazar's assuming new responsibilities and roles with the Blackhawks his record he left in the AHL is stellar.
He was first in the AHL with power-play goals, and this could prove to be a great move should he continue the tear in the NHL.
