Edmonton Oilers complete 3-player move involving Corey Perry ahead of game 4
The Edmonton Oilers are in the hunt for the Stanley Cup, and they're down a Game 1-2 in the playoff series, as the Dallas Stars took Game 3, with a decisive score of 3-1.
So Kris Knoblauch will adjust the lineup for Game 4 to optimize the roster, to stay competitive.
As a result, what was once thought to be the end of Perry's playing time in Edmonton, as a healthy scratch is no more.
He will be pushed into the lineup, along with Ryan McLeod, and Philip Broberg in place of Sam Carrick, Vincent Desharnais, and Warren Foegele.
According to DailyFaceOff.com, Perry will slot in on the 3rd line as left-wing, with Adam Henrique centering, and Connor Brown flanking on the right.
In the last 5 games, Corey Perry has only 3 shots-on-goal and an average TOI of 4:64.
If Perry is to save his career in Edmonton, tonight may be the night, otherwise he may be out when Ken Holland leaves the GM spot in Edmonton for good.
