Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach takes punches in the face from own teammate in training camp
The Montreal Canadiens should consider wrapping Kirby Dach in bubble wrap.
The former Blackhawks winger has suffered the 2nd incident for the second day in a row at the CN Sports Complex, in Brossard.
This time instead of a stick to the face, he took a punch to the face, fortunately though no major injury or concussion was announced for Dach.
The day before, he was hit in the stick with the face, obviously not paying attention to the play, head down.
Coach Martin St. Louis has placed Dach on a line with Patrik Laine and Alex Newhook as the Canadiens look to jumpstart the offense into elite territory with the newly added sniper, from the Blue Jackets.
He needs a change in luck!
Dach only played 2 games for the Habs in 2023-2024 scoring 2 points.
He'll need to reacquaint himself, with how to act on ice, if he's to dodge things hitting him in the face, or he could end up like Connor Bedard, laid out by a depth defenseman like Brendan Smith, out for a month of player.
