Some people are saying the games might be rigged to oppose the Leafs.
It seems as if NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman is favoring the Golden Knights, giving them three extra days for their injured players to get better, like their captain Mark Stone. The Maple Leafs are playing their second game before the Golden Knights even start their first one.
One commentator, href='https://x.com/HockeyPatrol/status/1782166575547654617' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>HockeyPatrolX, said it's not fair that the Oilers and Golden Knights are starting three days after the Maple Leafs. They think if the games were spread out better, players like William Nylander from the Maple Leafs might have been able to play in the first game as he is currently battling an unknown injury.
This extra rest time could have made a big difference for all the teams, including the Maple Leafs. If William Nylander had more time to rest, he might not have missed the first game against the Bruins because of his injury.
Is this true controversy, or is it Leafs fans being.. Leafs fans?
