Russian government takes action on Alexander Ovechkin who is in debt
Interesting development with the Great 8, Alexander Ovechkin
A journalist Maxime Truman just reported surprising news regarding Washington Capitals star forward Alexander Ovechkin.
It's reported that his bank account has been blocked by his 'native country', meaning the Russian government.
''Championat reports that Alex Ovechkin's business bank account has been frozen due to a debt of US$543 in federal taxes. It's not a good time to owe money to the government there, I suppose.''
This is reportedly Ovechkin's main personal bank account, this is certinaly not good news for the NHL superstar after he's likely returned home for this off-season following elimination in round 1 of the NHL playoffs.
