The Chicago Blackhawks had their chances to interview, observe and take notes on multiple prospects this week.
Interviews and assessments took place at the Key Bank Center and LECOM Harbor Center.
One future Blackhawks prospect was busy endearing himself to the NHL media during the combine.
It was Artyom Levshunov, who the Blackhawks could take 2nd over, who was being interview during the combine.
He spoke about how well dinner went with GM Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks, how they had beer and how the Hawks were the only team who made the gesture of taking him out to dinner.
Of course the 18 year old has a great sense of humor, joking about the couple of beers he and team had, considering he's underage, he likely had water, tea, or soda before a Guinness.
If he gets drafted by the Blackhawks, I guess we'll find out in the long run whether or not, he'll go back to Michigan State.
In 38 games with the Michigan State Spartans he posted 35 points( 9 G, 26 A) and could be a great solution for a thin Blackhawks defense right away.
He sealed the deal, by endearing everyone to him with his friendly nature, eager to engage with reporters and discuss his experiences.
The Belarussian defenseman will surely be a fan favorite wherever he will be drafted.
Will he end up in Chicago?
