The Colorado Avalanche are the Kings of the mountain knocking the Tampa Bay Lightning off their thrones.
Ironically this was in a way a win for the Arizona Coyotes also. When the Arizona Coyotes traded Darcy Kuemper to the Avalanche last off-season, the deal came with some conditions that were not official until last night with the cup victory.
With the Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup the Arizona Coyotes also receive a 2024 3rd round pick added in the deal but that's not all.
The final part of the trade condition was required for this pick to be added was that Kuemper must win the stanley cup and appear in 50% of the Colorado Avalanche's games, which both were achieved last night.
All though the Coyotes are the laughing stock of the league especially more now playing in a tiny arena
The Coyotes own seven out of the first 45 picks in the draft this year, and it all starts for General Manager, Bill Armstrong when the third overall pick.
