The Stanley Cup Playoffs are over now with the Colorado Avalanche being named the new king's of the NHL, however the hockey world is still discussing Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane.
More specifically the hit Kane did to Avalanche forward
Nazem Kadri, hitting him from behind that looked liked a clear intent to injure Kadri, during game three of the Oilers vs Avalanche Western Conference Finals.
Kane of course would deny it was intentional, however it's believed now that Kane was trying to hurt Kadri for him trying to vote Kane off the HDA. Some believe with that information along with the Avalanche looking to go up 3-0 in the series Kane knew this was his chance to injure Kadri and end his playoff run.
Even Kane's ex-wife Anna Kane believes this was the case. Kane and his ex-wife have had a well documented and messy break up Anna claimed to be mentally and physically abused by Kane along with airing out his dirty laundry for all to see.
According to Kane's ex-wife Anna, there was some serious beef going on already between Kane and Kadri, and Anna claimed that Kadri had tried to have Kane removed from the 'Hockey Diversity Alliance' and even voted in favour of Kane's removal; that's not all Anna had to say as she would share this on her Instagram:
DO THE NHL TEAMS NOT REALIZE THEY WILL NEVER EVER WIN A CUP WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS.
@43KADRI - KADRI WAS IN THE HDA - HOCKEY DIVERSITY ALLIANCE THAT VOTED TO KICK EVANDER OUT. THEN THE FIRST CHANCE HE GOT AT REVENGE HE COULDN'T CONTROL HIMSELF AND HURT HIM. THAT WAS A PERSONAL REVENGE HIT.
THE NEXT PERSON HE HURTS CAN BE CAREER ENDING, THEN THEY WILL SAY THERE WAS "ZERO WARNING" SIGNS.
WHY AREN'T THEY HOLDING HIM ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY OF HIS CHANCES?
PRIORITIZING HIM OVER THE SAFETY OF ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS IN THE NHL, HE HAS CHOKED IN EVERY PLAY OFF RUN,
DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THIS?"
