In this case, he is not even being dealt! Dylan Strome will become a free agent this Wednesday this week on the 13th of July, and the Blackhawks will not be making him a qualifying offer- he will become a free agent and will choose his own destination on where to continue his NHL career.
This is absolutely heartbreaking, seeing the fatherhood and friendships developed between multiple players be split up, Dylan Strome has been a dad for a while and welcomed newly announced father Alex DeBrincat over, they spent a lot of this summer together with there girlfriends and kids as shown below.
The Blackhawks even started to develop a OHL line reunion from over 6 or 7 years ago that consisted of Taylor Raddysh, Dylan Strome and DeBrincat. But that is now down the drain..
