BREAKING - Gaudreau Lied to Calgary & Signs Somewhere Nobody Expected..
BREAKING NEWS - Johnny Gaudreau has officially signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets for a 7 year deal at $9.8 million dollars per season after declining a $10 million dollar contract from his old team, the Calgary Flames.
Johnny Gaudreau declined the Flames offer of $10 million per season and said it is not about the money, but the family aspect. Gaudreau's family is from outside Philadelphia and the New Jersey area, where they are currently living in. So fans expected Gaudreau to sign in one of those two organizations since that's where his family is, and that's why he stated he wanted out of Calgary..
It turns out Columbus is farther from his home and family than Calgary was, and Gaudreau pulled a sneaky one!
