The NHL trade deadline is set to be finalized on March 3rd, at 2:00PM Eastern, depending on which time zone you are in that is just two days time away.

The trade deadline may not have any trades for the first time in existence, teams are starting things VERY early this years, with several blockbuster trades already completed, more are to come..

Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko to the Rangers, Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders, Timo Meier to the Devils, Ryan O'Reilly to the Maple Leafs and several others... now, the Los Angeles Kings have traded their heart and soul of the franchise who just has over 20 games left on his contract, to the Columbus Blue Jackets?

The Los Angeles Kings are doing their goaltender dirty..

To say Jonathan Quick is unhappy with the trade, I'm told, is "an understatement."

The entire #LAKings team was a bit down after the game, a win, and you could understandably see it in Anze Kopitar's face after a 4-goal night.

Trade call with the NHL between LA/CBJ was completed about 10mins ago. Gavrikov & Korpisalo to the Kings in a trade that sends Quick to CBJ as part of a package.

It is also reported that Gavrikov is not coming to the LA Kings with an extension signed, meaning he can leave the Kings in the off-season and sign wherever else he would like too. Los Angeles Kings fans are NOT happy over this one, and we do not blame them...
