BREAKING: Ryan Reynolds Buying Two NHL Franchises? He Publicly Reveals Info on The Tonight Show
The renowned actor Ryan Reynolds, who has starred in numerous excellent films throughout the years, recently made headlines when he announced his intention to buy the Ottawa Senators. On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tonight, he revealed his ambition to buy the team.
Since their owner Eugene Melnyk passed away in 2022, the Senators have had a difficult and hectic year. In order to provide the squad a stronger future and one that could undoubtedly be one that would be appealing to acquire, general manager Pierre Dorion was fairly busy signing their core of young players.
The organization is also considering ideas to relocate the franchise from the tiny town of Kanata on the western edge of Ottawa to the city's downtown.
Reynolds, who was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and grew up in Vanier, an Ottawa suburb, claims that he is trying to put together a consortium or find a partner to help him buy the franchise.
