The Philadelphia Flyers season is just weeks away from starting and the Philadelphia Flyers are looking in amazing shape with the acquisitions of Anthony DeAngelo, Nic Deslauriers and now tryout Signings of Antoine Roussel and goal scorer Artem Anisimov.
Other news Flyers fans expected to be excited for was the return of injured players from last year, Kevin Hayes and Sean Couturier to be specific.
Now it all makes sense on why the Flyers signed Artem Anisimov, a centre.. as they have just received brutal news regarding Coururier's health..
Sean Couturier is expected to miss seven plus months, if not, the entirety of the 2022-23 season for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Couturier is the Flyers glue on the defensive end, his last healthy season he won the best defensive forward in the entire NHL over Bruins Patrice Bergeron. This is devastating news for Flyers fans as they expected Couturier to take on the captaincy role next season and be fully healthy.
