Who would have thought the Arizona Coyotes wouldn't be dead last in the season this year?

The Coyotes currently rank above several teams throughout the NHL including a few surprising ones including the San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets and even the Ottawa Senators.

The Coyotes current roster looks identical to some teams's minor league teams as it is full of AHL players, but somehow they are still growing strong and even beat the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 4-0 the other night.

While being a bottom 10 team in the NHL is never fun, the Coyotes have one of the brightest futures throughout the league.

Their future consists of Connor Geekie, Dylan Gunther, Jack McBain, Viktor Soderstorm and 3rd overall pick of last years NHL draft Logan Cooley.

Cooley is still developing with his NCAA team in University and is tearing things up this year, to add a cherry on top he hit the lacrosse goal last night which is also referred to as ''the Michigan''.

Cooley's season has consisted of scoring five goals and totals for 14 points so far, Coyotes fans, you guys have a gem!
