One of the biggest NHL league transactions of the off-season involved Chicago Blackhawks Alex DeBrincat, and the seventh overall pick held by the Ottawa Senators.

DeBrincat was coming off a career-high 41 goal, 78 point season and fans really thought his trade value was at an all-time high, so did Kyle Davidson- until he waited until the last minute at the NHL trade deadline to move DeBrincat and was forced to receive a significant amount of less value then he was offered a month prior.

Funny enough, even with all the ''assets'' the Ottawa Senators brought in this off-season they are still third last in the National Hockey League and the Blackhawks rank above them in the leagues standings. Alex DeBrincat is also on pace for one of his worst seasons since 2019.

DeBrincat and the Senators took on the Anaheim Ducks yesterday, and being 5 foot seven as DeBrincat is, you gotta keep your head up!
