Big news from Hawks practice
For the first time since in nearly a month, Blackhawks Captain Jonathan Toews returned to Hawks practice as a full participant. Today Toews emerged from the dressing room wearing a regular practice Jersey and taking part in Hawks practice. He'd previously taken part in light drills wearing a non-contact jersey.
Toews hasn't played since before the All-Star Game on January 26th.
Last week Derek King had mentioned that Toews return relied heavily on how the forward felt, so this likely marks the beginning of his return to the lineup.
Both Riley Stillman and Reese Johnson remained in non-contact jerseys as practice got underway.
