Halfway into the first period against the Nashville Predators, defenseman Jake McCabe got high-sticked by Tanner Jeannot. The stick hit McCabe under his visor and drew blood. He went down the tunnel and the Blackhawks went on a four-minute power play.
Patrick Kane got high-sticked earlier in the first period, but it went uncalled. As for McCabe, he has yet to return to the bench and is likely receiving stitches.
