The Chicago Blackhawks lose a heartfelt member of their organization of 33 years after his last game on Sunday against the Toronto Maple Leafs

The most famous organist in the National Hockey, Frank Pellico, worked his last game with the Blackhawks organization at the United Center after spending a lifelong career with the Blackhawks.
Pellico describes his hiring by the Blackhawks as a surprise, as he stumbled into the Wirtz family at an event, who later on hired him.
Organist Frank Pellico was just filling in for a colleague when he first played a Blackhawks game, and a chance encounter after the game led to him landing the role for the next 33 years.
Pellico joined the team in 1991. Colleague Carrie Marcotte, who is also a organist for the Blackhawks, will take over his full time role.
It is unaware of if this was the organization pushing Pellico out, as they did with the legendary voice of the Blackhawks, Pat Foley, as well as Eddie Olczyk.
The Blackhawks paid a loving tribute to Pellico, despite taking the 5-2 loss in his final game, it was an original six matchup he got to witness before calling it a career.
The Blackhawks also put a bouquet of red and white flowers in his work room, with two gold balloons spelling out "3"
During a timeout in the first period, the Blackhawks showcased a video on the jumbotron, highlight his contributions to the organization throughout his lengthy career.
Blackhawks players acknowledged him, tapping their sticks on the ice in appreciation.
Pellico got emotional, and signalled a heart with his hands to the United Center during their ovation for him.
Fans also gave him a standing ovation after his last song on the organ of the night in the third period, but unfortunately there is no footage of it to showcase.
Happy retirement Mr. Pellico! You will truly be missed,
-All United Center Blackhawks fans
