When General Manager Kyle Davidson decided to acquire several veteran forwards to help stabilize his talent-deprived roster, it was expected that Taylor Hall would rediscover his scoring touch and become an elite scorer again alongside Connor Bedard.

However, that dream came to an abrupt end after Hall suffered an injury that kept him out of the lineup for some time. Having played only eight games, he scored two goals with two assists for four points and holds a -2 rating as a Blackhawk.

According to Ben Pope, it appears that Hall's status has been updated, and it sounds like he 'might' available for Thursday's game. This is drawing serious concern, as he's already missed 6 games for the team with 2 separate injuries.

Hall, who was drafted in 2010 by the Edmonton Oilers as the first overall pick in the first round, is now 31 years old. He has played for six NHL organizations, participated in 830 games, scored 266 goals with 431 assists, accumulated 697 points, and has also spent 446 penalty minutes.

Once his return is complete, it will help solidify the Blackhawks' offence and provide them with another weapon. The Blackhawks' current record is 5-8-2, totalling 12 points.
