Blackhawks Player Nearly Loses His Life During Last Night's Game
They say hockey is a ''game of inches'', but last night, it was almost reality.
The NHL has had multiple scares regarding serious cuts and injuries, recent studies and safety groups are even suggesting new kevlar cut proof neck guards and wrist protectors for players and it just makes sense!
There has been Evander Kane's most recent wrist-slitting situation, thankfully he survived. *graphic warning*
And there was also one that everyone is aware of, the Clint Malarchuk situation, where his throat was slit quite badly, and he was 15 seconds away from passing away if pressure was not applied to his neck.
During last night's Blackhawks vs Winnipeg Jets game, a similar situation nearly happened and a Blackhawks forwards throat was centimetres away from being slit... check it out below.
