Alex Stalock, the goalie for the Chicago Blackhawks, is recovering from a concussion, according to NBC Sports. According to Chicago's Charlie Roumeliotis, the goalie was presentfor the morning skate on Sunday.

Stalock has been in the concussion protocol after sustaining an injury against the New York Islanders on November 1 after taking a serious blow to the head on a worrisome play.

This is the first time Stalock has taken the ice since 26 days ago, and the Blackhawks are taking it ''slow'', we are in hopes the 35-year old goalie who nearly retired a year ago recovers greatly, and puts his health over hockey.
Arvid Soderblom will presumably be sent back to the minors as a result, although he has outperformed veteran Petr Mrazek (1-4-1, .885 save percentage). Although unlikely, the Blackhawks could decide to release Mrazek once Stalock returns.
