The Blackhawks' 2022 seventh overall pick, Kevin Korchinski, will be making his NHL debut on Sept. 27 against the St. Louis Blues in the United Center. The lines released earlier today state he'll be paired with Connor Murphy.
It's unclear whether Korchinski's spot on the ice will stay his or not, but the game tonight will likely determine if he's truly ready to be in the show. If he's able to play confidently and shoot the puck, fans might see him play regularly for the Hawks throughout the season.
