It was a very tough year for the Montreal Canadiens and likewise for Canadiens goaltender Carey Price. After having off-season surgery then seeking help for substance abuse, Price did everything in his power to battle to return to the Canadiens lineup.

Price would persevere and return to play 4 games including the Canadiens final game of the season and the 700th game of Carey Price's career. Price would win that game over the Florida Panthers and many believed this could of been Carey's final game.

At his last press conference, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes was hoping to hear from Carey Price, to know his decision and plans before the draft and free agency.

If Carey is indeed done Canadiens General Manager Kent Hughes will need to find another goaltender if he remains on the long-term injured list.

Unfortunately for Hughes, Carey Price mentioned in an interview at a charity baseball game in Kelowna British Columbia that he would wait until the end of the summer before making a decision on his future.

Unfortunately for the Canadiens this puts them in a bad spot because they just have to wait and see.
