Carey Price is Returning to Montreal!
Fans of the Montreal Canadiens and hockey enthusiasts in general are devastated by how Carey Price's career has ended. In addition to missing time from the game to sign up for the NHL's Player Assistance Program, which is utilized for players suffering addiction, mental health concerns, or other causes, Price has missed time due to numerous knee injuries that required surgery.
In order to live closer to their family, Price and his family have placed their Montreal house for sale, according to Price's wife, and they are moving far out west.
Price may be relocating far away, but he still plans to participate in Montreal-based organizations, fundraising efforts, and other events since he's a classy man.
Price will visit Montreal once more on February 18 to meet and greet fans at a PeeWee hockey tournament. Chris Chelios, Denis Savard, Pierre Turgeon, Caroline Ouellette, Kim St-Pierre, and Caroline Labonte will all be in attendance in addition to Price.
Despite his difficulties with the sport, Price's decision to visit Montreal for a PeeWee kids hockey tournament speaks volumes about the sort of guy he is. It's believed to be his "goodbye" to Quebec on February 18.
