Connor Bedard keeps a memory of his Grandfather by his side always
After being chosen as the 1st overall pick in the NHL Draft, Connor Bedard had a lengthy media tour. One of his interviews was with Sportsnet, where he was joined by Chuck Fletcher, Jason Bukala, and Sam Cosentino.
During the interview, Bukala asked Bedard about his grandfather and about his memorable draft day.
Connor Bedard had his grandpa with him on his #NHLDraft day. ❤️
Bedard, being a considerate grandson, brought a chip that had his grandfather's image on it.
This was a meaningful gesture as both of them loved playing cards together. It was a touching way to honor someone who had undoubtedly impacted the young player's life.
