Countdown to Connor Bedard's First Game as a Blackhawk
At the start of the season, the Chicago Blackhawks along with many of the other NHL teams will participate in a rookie tournament. The Tom Kurver Prospect Showcase is one of the tournaments that fall under this category.
There will be three teams participating in the NHL East Challenge, which will begin on September 13th, 2023. These are the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, and Chicago Blackhawks.
Connor Bedard is expected to be taking part in the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase in Minnesota when the #mnwild rooks take on the #blackhawks and #stlblues in two weeks As it was last year, this year's showcase is going to take place in Minneapolis, whereas last year it took place in Chicago at the Fifth Third Arena.
This is expected to be Connor Bedard's first game as a Chicago Blackhawk, and he will be playing in this tournament along with other NHL junior-level prospects who are also part of this team.
Considering the fact that Bedard's deployment will soon be on October 10th, this season against the Pittsburgh Penguins, it should give you pause for thought.
When Bedard plays in this tournament, what will happen if he gets injured during the event?
It is nevertheless expected that Bedard, following the September tournament, will be able to make his first NHL start in October following the tournament.
