Dylan Stromes' 2 Goal and 3 Point Night Puts Him Nearly Double Ahead Patrick Kane in Point Totals
The Blackhawks, and general manager Kyle Davidson dismantled the ''junior group'' this off season which contained Alex DeBrincat, Dylan Strome, Taylor Raddysh and Boris Katchouk. All four of those players played together on the Erie Otters in the OHL league before their NHL careers were started, and two of them, being Dylan Strome and Alex DeBrincat were departed from the organization this off-season.
Alex DeBrincat was traded away, and Strome's contract expired, surprisingly Kyle Davidson did not renew Strome's contract or even negotiate with him, he let him walk without any questions, where he then hit the open market. A centerman of Strome's skill level would be a great asset for any team, that was proved when the Washington Capitals quickly claimed Dylan Strome and signed him to a contract.
Strome has been unbelievable on the Capitals, and has found success in each point category tallying up for 14 points on the year in just 14 games played, with four goals and eight assists.
Last night, the slumped Capitals took on the hot Edmonton Oilers, the Capitals came through with a win with due credit to Dylan Stromes' 3 point performance, check it out below:
Strome opens the scoring to make it 1-0:
Stromes' second goal to make it 2-0 capitals:
The Oilers scored, and Strome quickly responded with a powerplay assist to Evgeny Kuznetsov which put the Capitals up a goal, sadly there is no video.
Best wishes to Strome, and us here at Blackhawks Nation are in hopes Strome can stay hot!
