As if the Chicago Blackhawks could let go of more key pieces? From superstar 2-time 40 goal scorer Alex DeBrincat to Dylan Strome, where at the Blackhawks headed? Well, Kyle Davidson has made it clear the team will be moving forward with a multi-year rebuild process from the ground up, and it seems like staff are apart of that also..

The Chicago Blackhawks are not renewing Eddie Olczyk's contract for a commentator, and now the Blackhawks are calling former players to see if they can fill the hole. Eddie Olczyk has spent his time with the Blackhawks from playing for the team and also broadcasting alongside the legendary Pat Foley since 1984.

It has been said with the Blackhawks losing Pat Foley to retirement and the hiring of the Hawks new young commentator, that the team wants to move forward with a younger group that is more active on social media.

Much like DeBrincat, Strome, Kubalik and Kevin Lankinen along the list of Blackhawks members who got picked up by teams after the Blackhawks did not re-sign them, Eddie Olczyk has already found a new home and reporter Ben Pope reveals it's the Seattle Kraken.
