Former Popular EBUG Goalie Who Beat The Leafs is Facing Serious Allegations That May Ruin His Career
David Ayers was just a typical zamboni driver who enjoyed making the ice look as beautiful as ever. That was until he had the opportunity of a lifetime back on Feb. 22, 2020. On that day, the Carolina Hurricanes had the only two goalies on their roster go down, so then entered the emergency goalie, David Ayers.
Any emergency goalie, who actually gets to play, becomes famous overnight, but Ayers got a little more attention following a game in which he earned the win against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Two and a half years later and Ayres is back in the headlines, but not for any good reason. Sarah Ayres, David's wife, has come out and called out her husband for abuse that she has suffered over the years of their marriage.
This is a really unfortunate story that is making headlines.
