Undoubtedly, the University of Michigan's Hockey Program is one of the best in the nation, having produced many NHL players.

Some notable alumni of the program include Matty Beniers, Kent Johnson, and Zach Werenski, just to name a few.

As the team is coming off back-to-back Big Ten Championship wins, they will now be looking to replace Adam Fantilli with Frank Nazar as they decide to run it back with him.

It must be noted that Nazar had to undergo surgery last year to return to the ice, and he has had to put in double the amount of work to get back to the level he was at.

While working on getting stronger and faster throughout the off-season, the young center has been a great example of dedication and hard work.

When he returned from surgery last season, he could have been tempted to slack off, but he ended up putting up two goals and five assists for seven points in 13 games and showed great competition against his rival Michigan State.

According to Head Coach Brandon Naurato, Nazar is expected to progress significantly in his sophomore year. With the young center's good health, the team seems to be coming together nicely.

Could the Wolverines make another run at the Big Ten Championship yet again with Nazar at the helm?
