Gary Bettman makes major decision on Milan Lucic following court case

Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins, has been trending for the wrong reasons as of late. Lucic was arrested this week for serious allegations of domestic abuse towards his wife.
Details were revealed regarding the court case that led many to believe he may not be able to return to the NHL, but today, Lucic had a court hearing and was deemed not guilty.
Milan Lucic pleads not guilty to an assault and battery charge in Boston Municipal Court, after being arrested for allegedly pulling his wife by her hair and trying to choke her during an argument, according to court records.
Now today, the NHL and Gary Bettman announced that Milan Lucic will be entering the players assistance program while he remains in indefinite leave from the Boston Bruins.
The NHL player assistance program is a program for players, dealing with mental health, alcohol, and substance abuse, as well as other issues, players must be cleared in order to leave the program.
