The Chicago Blackhawks are no doubt going to be one of the busier teams at the trade deadline and possibly throughout the summer as well after a disappointing 2021-22 season. Just how soon the moves begin to trickle in remains to be seen, but we do have confirmation that teams have been calling.

According to DFO's Frank Seravalli, multiple teams have tabled offers to the Blackhawks for 23-year-old winger Brandon Hagel. The offers are believed to contain both a 1st round pick and a prospect.

Hagel was a 6th round pick by the Buffalo Sabres back in 2016, but could not agree to terms with the club and thus went back to the WHL to play with the Red Deer Rebels, where he caught the eye of the Blackhawks. He signed a 3-year entry-level deal with the Hawks during the 2018-19 season.

The Saskatoon, SASK native has tallied 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points in 42 games with the Blackhawks this season. The kid has some bite in his game as well. Check out this clip of him delivering a hard hit on Jack Roslovic and then dropping Patrik Laine in a fight.
