The Ottawa Senators, who have been in the news for several months due to their pending sale of the franchise, announced a coaching change in their AHL team, the Belleville Senators. Coach Troy Mann, who is the older brother of Trent Mann, the team's deputy general manager, has been fired.

Both the AHL and NHL franchises are still in transition as the new ownership group assumes control this year. Several well-known celebrities, notably Ryan Reynolds have indicated interest in buying the squad. The procedure has started and will take a while to finish...

But not without a sticky situation, many have questioned as to why the teams manager would fire his own brother, Troy Mann of his head coaching duties? Well, it appears as if it's a lot more vile than we all thought.

Troy Mann was reportedly caught giving another NHL team scouting material that was property of the Ottawa Senators, which crossed a fine line and lead to him being fired.

Sources saying there were trust issues emerging between the #Sens and Belleville HC Troy Mann. I'm told the straw that broke the camels back was when Mann gave some of the Ottawa Senators pre-scouting material to another NHL team.

NHL organizations are very strict with information like this, if you are employed with one organization and are doing scouting reports it's quite obvious those reports should not be shared with your employers opponents. He was caught red handed, and that was stated to be the ending point between his relationship with his own brother.
