The Los Angeles Kings are gearing up for significant jersey changes next season. Fans are divided between a return to the original look and the '90s aesthetic, but the team is leaning toward a design inspired by the successful Reverse Retro program. This move is influenced by the NHL's shift from Adidas to Fanatics as the primary supplier in the 2024-25 season.
Due to potential jersey limitations, the Kings are considering adopting the white alternate jersey as the new road sweater, featuring the '90s era crest as the primary logo next season. This decision allows for future flexibility, with the possibility of reintroducing the current black jersey as an alternate in subsequent seasons.
Fans can expect an announcement of a purple and gold alternate jersey in the second or third year of the Fanatics deal, offering either a true Heritage version or a throwback version with the alleged '90s era crest in purple and golda concept that combines the best of all worlds.
