In a heartbreaking incident, 61-year-old forward Mikhail Yanchishin collapsed on the ice during a Russian amateur hockey game, resulting in a devastating outcome.
The scene unfolds in video footage, capturing Yanchishin's fall and the immediate response from fellow players rushing to assist. Urgent efforts are made to turn him onto his back, highlighting the severity of the situation, sadly Yanchishin passed away.
While the precise cause of death is yet to be officially confirmed, reports strongly suggest a cardiac episode.
