Earlier this week we shared a first look inside the Arizona Coyotes new 4,700 seat arena they will be using at Arizona State University.
Causing many to wonder how the hell are the Arizona Coyotes still in the NHL? Two words Gary Bettman. The NHL Commissioner is dead set to keep the Coyotes in the desert.
It was recently revealed that over the past 15 years, in total, the Coyotes have lost $200 Million as an organization, again making hockey fans wonder how and why they are still in the NHL?
Canada has been trying for the past 10 years to bring another team back here via re-location or expansion with Hamilton and Quebec both building NHL sized venues especially Quebec with a gorgeous new rink. Aswell as Houston also could be a better choice for hockey then Arizona.
However, with negotiations for a new arena has taken time to get approved in Tempe, Arizona which won't even open until 2025 it looks like no matter how bad things get the Coyotes don't look to be leaving the Desert anytime soon.
