Islanders' Forward Continues Hitting Injury Spree on Goaltenders
When the Blackhawks played the Islanders at the UC last week, the Blackhawks got a 5-min powerplay opportunity right out of the gate.
That opportunity came from a hit from Casey Cizikas that knocked Alex Stalock out of the game and put him on the IR.
Well, Cizikas is back at it, but this time it was Jacob Markstrom, of the Calgary Flames, who was involved in the incident with Cizikas.
This hit isn't nearly as bad, and there may even be a little bit of a flop from Markstrom, but Cizikas definitely seems like he was looking for contact. Markstrom sure got some whiplash from how hard he fell back.
He has a history of being a player who does things like this making it look like an "accident."
This year is different, though, as it seems the league may now have their eyes on Cizikas.
