It's hard to believe how bad the Chicago Blackhawks have become. The Blackhawks were once considered a dynasty lead by Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews, the team won 3 Stanley Cups in 6 years from 2010 to 2016 but are no where near the team they once were.

The Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has been trying to clean house trading anyone of value for draft picks and or prospects. But the heart and soul of the team remain in captain Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, many assumed these two Blackhawks Legends would retire in the windy city, but now looks like that won't be the case.

All though Davidson has stated he won't ask the pair to waive their no movement clauses but if they requested a move the Blackhawks would try to accommodate a deal that would help both players get to a new team, in return it would help the Blackhawks rebuild.

However, a trade could be coming sooner rather then later. Toews sat down with NBC Sports and would discuss his future and a possible trade.

It's a difficult question to answer cause there's a part of myself that doesn't really want to admit the situation and also wants to continue being a Blackhawk and finish my career here.

But at the same time, there's a part of me that sees the writing on the wall and sees that this team, this
organization, is trying to hit the reset button and that maybe change for everybody is not such a bad thing, and that goes for myself also. - Jonathan Toews

Toews has had a hall of fame worthy career since being drafted back in 2006 by the Blackhawks, Toews has 876 points, 3 Stanley Cups and has played in 1,054 games in Chicago.
