Kyle Davidson Has Made a Decision on Derek King & His Time in Chicago..
The Blackhawks are coming off quite the rough season, a franchise worst since 2005-2006. Each NHL fan base loves to hold management or players accountable for their teams struggles, for the Blackhawks it seems as if it was the coaching that fans disliked the most.
Derek King being named the Blackhawks head coach after taking a temporary positions after the firing of former coach Jeremy Colliton. Derek King had a bad habit for throwing his own players under the buss which did not help the teams morale at all, King hardly referred to HIS own team as 'they'' and not 'we'' as he should, as it is his own team.
Well Blackhawks fans are very thankful as they received news that the franchise has hired there 42nd coach in history, Luke Richardson. Richardson brings 5x the experience as Derek King and brings a more veteran like-hard headed presence aboard to push our youth throughout this rebuild to their full potential.
Despite Derek King losing his head coaching job it seems as if Kyle Davidson would be more than happy to keep Derek King in the organization, whether it is a lower coaching role, scouting or staff Davidson says he hopes he can find a role in Chicago once again and appreciates his team and effort towards the organization.
