Leafs evacuate ice as they get full beers and garbage thrown at them by the dozens
The New Jersey Devils were in hopes to extend their win streak to fourteen games last night, but sadly took a loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but some may say the referees are to blame for the result of the game.
The New Jersey Devils had three goals called off, two of them were very clear good goals and the broadcasters were even blown out of their minds.
Take a look at #1:
''Goaltender interference''
Take a look at #2 and #3:
Were those proper calls? It sure does not seem so, and the Devils sold-out arena had the right to be furious from the calls, but in no-way shape OR form does that mean fans can throw objects on the ice, which could cause serious harm to players.
Not only were there objects thrown on the ice such as popcorn, skittles and water bottles, there were full cracked open beers being sent on the ice, the Devils fans were all aiming for the Leafs bench as the crowd chanted ''Leafs, refs suck''.
Take a look at the situation below, where the Leafs were forced to evacuate the ice and take a 10 minute break in their dressing room to let the fans cool down.
