Referee at risk of being fired after embarrassing mix up raises question of rigged games
Last night the NHL referees put the New Jersey Devils twelve game win streak to a end, and called back three of the New Jersey Devils' goals, which some were quite controversial.
To raise concern even more, the three goals called back were in favour of the Toronto Maple Leafs, why does that raise concern? When a team challenges the goal, a phone call is sent to the goal review headquarters which is located in no other city then Toronto..
Take a look below and see if you can spot goaltender interference, anywhere at all...
New Jersey Devils head coach challenged the call, and it was still deemed a ''no goal''.
But when the referee made the announcement to the arena, he made quite the brutal one, especially in front of a sold-out New Jersey Devils fan packed arena..
