Connor Bedard had 7 points in 11 games coming into the game against the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight. Well, tonight he proved even more to why he was selected first overall at this year's draft.
Bedard had his first multi-point night tonight, scoring two goals and having two assists.
The first one came when Kurahsev found the puck near the end boards, walked it up and just threw it in the slot. Bedard managed to outwork Victor Hedman and get a freebie in front.
Then, Nick Foligno forces a turnover, passes it up to Bedard and he finds Tyler Johnson. Johnson then puts it home on the one-timer.
For his third point, Foligno did a nifty pass under the stick of the defender. It then found Bedard and he did a nice backhander to score.
On his fourth point, he shot the puck from the top and Perry tipped it on front, scoring against his own team.
