MUST SEE: Connor Bedard Score 4 Goals and 13 Shots in First Game Back
Connor Bedard was recently at the World Juniors playing for Team Canada. Canada beat the Czech Republic 3-2 in Overtime to win the Gold Medal.
Connor put up 23 points at the WJC tournament, nine points away from passing Peter Forsberg for most points in history. Forsberg did that in 1993 at the age of 19.
Well, Bedard recently returned to the Regina Pats today, and played his first game back with them. Connor Bedard has 4 goals and 2 assists, adding up to 6 points, and 13 shots on goal just this game. This reminds me of Sidney Crosby and the tank war to get him. The Pittsburgh Penguins of course won the lottery and got him in 2005. He has been a Penguin for life, and has lived up to all the hype around him coming out of that draft. Hopefully this 17 year old will do the same.
