Major Update Regarding Evander Kane's San Jose Investigation
Evander Kane is one of the most polarizing figures in the National Hockey League, but not for his play on the ice, rather what he gets involved in off of it.
Last season, Kane, then playing for the San Jose Sharks had his contract terminated, seemingly for breaking the American Hockey Leagues Covid protocols.

Immediately, Dan Milstien, Kane's agent filed a grievance with the league, which was going to take forever to settling, most likely leaking into the beginning of this coming season and it doesn't sound like a settlement is coming any time soon.
It sounds like both sides have dug in their heels with the Sharks determined not to pay him a cent and Kane eager to clear his name
From the sounds of it, this is a long way from being done and at the very least may have some impact on the upcoming season for Kane, although missing games doesn't seem too likely.
