When the Stanley Cup playoffs began much of the hockey world were predicting a possible clash of the Titans between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Both teams wouldn't disappoint. The Lightning would knock out the Toronto Maple Leafs, Florida Panthers, and New York Rangers while the Avalanche would take out the Nashville Predators, St Louis Blues, and Edmonton Oilers leading to a Stanley Cup meeting with the two time defending champions.
The two teams would have a epic series with the Avalanche Knocking the Lightning off their thrones. During the traditional hand shakes we would catch a special moment between Lightning's Head Coach Jon Cooper and Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar.
Cooper who's one of the most well liked and respected Coaches in the NHL who was gracious in victory also proved to be gracious in defeat. Cooper would congratulate Bednar after a hard fought series.
