NHL Insider Reveals These Three Contenders Are in on This Blackhawks forward
There are just two months until the NHL Trade Deadline gets here.
Max Domi is one of the Blackhawks who will likely get dealt, and we should get a decent return for the center. He has had a solid year as both a playmaker and an enforcer.
Although the points aren't stellar, there is still solid production paired with his enforcer like mentality.
He current has 25 points (11G, 14A) in 37 games. The thing that makes Domi a hot commodity, though, is his contract.
Domi is on a 1 year contract worth just $3M. Any team will be willing to take on his contract to add a solid centerman to the 3rd line, and maybe even the 2nd line.
According to David Pagnotta, the teams that have been linked to Domi are the Rangers, Maple Leafs, Stars, and Devils. All of those teams are in great shape to make the playoffs, which is awesome for Domi.
Domi would make sense on any playoff roster. His contract is friendly, but it is what he brings with him every time he steps on the ice that makes him worthwhile for teams to trade for.
I'd be shocked if he is still a Blackhawk by the end of this year.
