NHL Likely to Postpone More Games
Last night, the Blue Jackets and Sabres game in Columbus was postponed due to the massive winter storm that is ripping its way through the Great Lakes.
Buffalo got hit hard, so the NHL decided to not have the Sabres travel, as there have also been thousands of cancelled flights throughout the US.
With the Sabres scheduled to host the Red Wings on Thursday night, it seems that there may be another postponement, as the winter storm is still wreaking havoc in Buffalo.
There is a driving ban in Buffalo, so the players can't even drive to practice, which means that there is no chance the Red Wings can travel to Buffalo.

According to The Hockey Feed, "more changes could come as the Sabres also play at the Boston Bruins on New Year's Eve to begin a three-game road trip. The Sabres game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Dec. 23 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo was postponed and rescheduled for March 4. Buffalo's game against the Philadelphia Flyers originally scheduled for March 4 now will be played Jan. 9."
