The Chicago Blackhawks faithful, the front office, and the team mourn the loss of Rocky Wirtz. In honor of Wirtz, the team's owner who died this past season, a patch has been placed on its uniforms.

Yet again, vacuous NHL rules have caused controversy with the demolition of specialty nights.

reminder that the Chicago Blackhawks are wearing a jersey patch this season in «honour» of their owner who disregarded the 2010 incidents but a player can't put a STICKER on his helmet to support FIGHTING CANCER.

NHL joins Cancer's side in Hockey Fights Cancer. Ridiculous.

Fans are outraged because Vegas Golde Knights' Logan Thompson cannot place a "Hockey Fights Cancer" ribbon on his helmet.

Quite rightly, they are angry that Thompson cannot bring awareness to the initiative with a meager sticker.

The Blackhawks and their Rocky-inspired uniform patches are now the targets of their salvos.

Gary Bettman would invent steps for the NHL would trip over if he could as his decision-making is another example of mismanagement.
