NHL Veteran of 16 Years is Leaving The NHL to Play Where!?
NHL insiders reveal that this Arizona Coyotes forward will be leaving the National Hockey League to continue his hockey career in Europe, after a whopping 1,000 plus games in the NHL throughout the span of sixteen full years.
Loui Eriksson was drafted in the second round, 3rd overall of the 2003 NHL entry draft and began his career in the 2005-2006 season with the Dallas Stars where he would spend his next several years moving forward.
Eriksson has rallied up a whopping 603 points throughout his time in the NHL which lasted 1,050 games. Loui has suffered injuries and the wear and tear of a aging NHL player, at 37-years old he looks for a spark and a new change of scenery in Europe.
Arizona Coyotes Hockey Insider Cody Morgan revealed that Loui Erikson is expected to be pursing a contract to play in Europe next season.
