The Winnipeg Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff hasn't had much luck as of late when it comes strengthening the Jets roster for next season.
Last season many hockey analyst picked the Winnipeg Jets as a team that could possibly do some damage in the Stanley cup playoffs. Unfortunately for Jets fans they failed to make the playoffs.
Since then Jets General Manager Kevin Cheveldayoff has had issues with his core players Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele, and , Pierre Luc-Dobois all seeming to want a change of scenery.
Free Agency also hasn't worked out in Cheveldayoff's favor either as players have seemed to avoided signing with the Jets this off-season.
According to Ken Wiebe multiple players turned down more money from the Winnipeg Jets and elected to sign elsewhere. This list includes both Danton Heinen and Calle Jarnkrok, who elected to sign in Pittsburgh and Toronto instead.
